FAQ¶

Does AppSwitcher modify system settings?
No. It stores its own configuration in %APPDATA%/AppSwitcher/config.json.

Is there telemetry?
No. See Privacy.

Can I back up my setup?
Yes. Copy %APPDATA%/AppSwitcher/config.json and any icon files in the same folder to another machine.

Why don’t the hotkeys switch to a slot?
Global hotkeys (Ctrl+Alt+1..9) assign the active window to a slot. Click the slot to activate/launch it.

Where are icons stored?
Custom and downloaded icons (e.g., favicons) are stored next to the config in %APPDATA%/AppSwitcher/ and referenced by path.
